Confederation of African Football (CAF) have appointed a team of experienced match officials for the highly anticipated international friendly pitting Kenya’s Harambee Stars and South Sudan’s Bright Stars.
Whistler Twagirumukiza Abdoulkalim from Rwanda will take charge of the fixture penciled for Kasarani stadium on Tuesday evening assisted by compatriots Karangwa Justin and Bwiriza Raymond Nonati as the 1st and 2nd assistant referees, respectively.
The fourth official will be Josephine Wanjiku from Kenya, ensuring fair play on the field. Additionally, match commissioner duties will be overseen by Francis Oliele from Kenya.
Kenyans are eagerly looking forward to this fixture buoyed by Thursday night’s victory over 2022 hosts Qatar in Doha. The Bright Stars were on the receiving end of a 4-0 drubbing by West Africa state of Mali on Friday night.
