The Football Kenya Federation has announced the appointment of Mildred Cheche as the new head coach of the Junior Starlets, Kenya’s U17 women’s national team. This strategic move comes ahead of the 2024 FIFA U17 World Cup second-round qualifiers.
Coach Mildred Cheche, who holds a CAF B licence, brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Currently serving as the assistant coach for the senior women’s national team, the Harambee Starlets, and the Rising Starlets, she is poised to lead the Junior Starlets through their upcoming challenges.
