Botswana giants Township Rollers have signed Salient Sports clients Iradukunda Jean Bertrand Kinyarwanda and Mohamed Diallo in a swoop described as ‘blockbuster’ by Chief Executive Officer of the club Bennett Mamelodi.Iradukunda is a bubbly 29-cap international for the Amavubi of Rwanda and last joins Township Rollers from Gasogi United.
The 26 year-old will link up with his new teammates after the conclusion of International fixtures where he’s in the running for a role for Amavubi in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Uganda in Kigali. Iradukunda has represented Rwanda at the Under17, Under20, Under23 and currently in the senior national team.Diallo on the other hand is an equally accomplished hitman recruited from Futuro Kings of Equitorial Guinea.
He has played for Mali in the FIFA Under 20 World Cup staged in New Zealand 2015. His progression saw him also feature for the respected football nation at Under23 level.

“A few weeks ago I promised you a blockbuster signing, or two. In our line of work, you underpromise and strive to deliver. That is just how it works. Your ability to deliver is the only currency that is credible for a football administrator in the modern era.”
“I’m pleased to announce that Township Rollers FC has completed the signing of Jean Bertrand Iradukunda from Gasogi United in Rwanda, Mohamed Diallo (Mali) from Futuro Kings FC in Equatorial Guinea and Aaron Marc Dion from CF Zoe in Cote Di Ivoire,” Mamelodi said in a statement.
The trio will be blooded into reputable tactician Hasan Oktay’s squad as Township Rollers look to build true conquerors of African club football.
Oktay, under extremely difficult financial and organizational conditions, steered record Kenyan champions Gor Mahia to their first ever CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinals in 2019 where they bowed out to Moroccan outfit RS Berkane.
